Even without the cold I'd be worried about my voice surviving a seven hour rehearsal on Saturday, followed by Palm Sunday at church and then the whole three hour Passion on Sunday evening. But it held up well enough, and so I'm confident I'll be able to cruise through the rest of the week.
Outside of the stress the weekend was awesome; having my folks in town was a real treat, having them able to come to church as well as the St. Matthew was an unexpected bonus, and of course going out for dinner afterwards with teh Y's and double-n-Jenn was wonderful.
So, this week I'm trying to relax some, not worrying if I don't make it to the gym every day, not worrying about cooking (bought easy quick stuff at the store last night), just trying to take it easy. If it wasn't for my current work project I'd be thinking about taking a vacation next week...my camping trip the following weekend will have to suffice (and it will).
If you're in town and like Bach (I guess that means you, Joe) you've got two more days to see the St. Matthew, Tuesday night at 7pm and Friday at 3pm.
Carry on.
P.S. I recently learned something - when playing BF2 for points, you have to stick on the server until the end of the round for the points to count. Part of me is happy I've figured out why I haven't been leveling up as fast as I figured I should have been, part of me is annoyed that I now need to think about whether or not I really have time to play a whole round before I sit down and play.
